Job Summary: Sell investment products including but not limited to stocks, bonds, mutual funds, fixed and variable annuities and life insurance.


Job Duties: This person will sell investment products, generate and maintain a marketing program for designated market area. Cross sell products and services offered by The Farmers & Merchants State Bank. Attend office meetings with staff with a focus on sales generation.


Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least four years of Investment Management and/or sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages. The following certification, licenses are required: Series 7 and 63 License, Life, Accidental and Health Insurance License. Series 24 license or obtain within one year of employment. Job Title: Part Time Teller


Job Location: Sylvania, OH


Job Summary: This person will accept cash items from customers for deposit, handle withdrawals and deposits from savings and checking accounts and take loan and credit card payments. Cash checks within the limits of the Bank policies, cross sell and refer customers for various bank products and services.


Job Duties: Sell bank products and services while using the sales skills taught in sales training. Receive and issue receipts for checking, savings account deposits and other customer transactions. Cash checks in accordance with bank procedures and ensure that funds are appropriately disbursed and collected. Balance cash drawer and report any discrepancies to the Teller Supervisor as necessary. Make concentrated effort to solve customer problems. Run back counter processing system, balance ATM and other reconciliation as directed by supervisor. Promote the bank's services and cross-sell bank products, including FM Investments. Comply and satisfactorily pass tests regarding bank policy and regulations that apply to position.

Job Title: E-Commerce / Customer Service Support (part time position working 20-24 hours per week)


Job Location: Operations Center, Archbold OH


Job Summary: Support staff – answer telephone and internet customer inquiries, data entry.


Job Duties: To function primarily as the support staff to assist customers with inquiries, product information and services requests via our telephone system and internet. Additionally, enrollment of new online users, set passwords and user ID's, prepare mailings to customers, phone and email customer support for online banking, mobile banking and general customer support, data entry. Job Title: Office Manager - Full Time


Job Location: Auburn, IN


Job Summary: The successful candidate for this position will sell Bank products and services while using the sales skills which are taught during sales training and serve as coach for office personnel. This position will oversee the operations of the office within the policies and regulations of the bank, including all phases from maintenance of the building and grounds to handling consumer and real estate mortgage loans. This person also assumes the responsibility of the office in regards to customer satisfaction, efficiency, accuracy and office profitability.


Job Duties: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Make customer calls to promote new business and create strong relationships with existing customers. Interview loan applicants, analyze financial data and make loan decisions up to established limits of bank policy. Lead staff in our sales program and ensure that employees utilize skills taught in their positions. Ensure that office is opened / closed for business in timely manner, establish office goals, handle customer complaints and counsel customers as needed. Maintain and stay current on security policies and procedures, which include testing equipment. Attend meetings and seminars as required, schedule and organize office meetings, supervise personnel and participate in community activities in order to increase the bank's visibility and to enhance new business opportunities.


Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Title: Data Management / Item Processing Specialist - Full Time


Job Location: Archbold OH – Operations Center


Job Summary: Responsible for establishing and maintaining documentation of data and reporting protocols and assisting in the development and implementation of best practices for the management of relational databases and concepts pertaining to SQL Server and/or Oracle database management systems, first–line support for Item Processing, Remote Deposit (Web) Capture and Director Image Management Application; including the assurance of database policies and procedures, data integrity, data extraction, report customization and analysis. Supports Item Processing and Operations staff by providing technical support and troubleshooting.

Job Duties: Maintain database and enforce standards and controls. Manage and provide technical support in regards to OnBase / Director. Additional responsibilities include reconciliation, balancing, managing calls and emails; written communication from customers, and office personnel. Coordinate upgrades and changes to item processing software/systems/procedures. Utilize sales training skills to provide outstanding customer service. Maintain and provide support to ATM projects and upgrades,


Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from a two year college or technical school, with two or more year's related experience in Banking or Finance and or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong technical experience, knowledge of all current Microsoft Windows/Server versions and proficient with Microsoft Office 2010. Experience with OnBase/Director is preferred.

• Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skill with the ability to work with both technical and no-technical users.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Work independently and collaboratively to accomplish responsibilities, goals and projects.

• Ability to interpret reports and financial data, experience in accounting, electronic funds transfers, and ACH transactions. Knowledge of bank technical operations, particularly related to system databases and computer programming. Experience with ATM programs and operations.

• A valid Driver's License is required.

• The employee must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds on occasion.
